King Abdulaziz University has many sports fields and clubs, allowing free participation and use for faculty members, staff, students, and the surrounding community to promote better health and well-being. The sports clubs are managed by the Agency for Activities and Skills within the Deanship of Student Affairs, which is responsible for developing and approving plans for sports events throughout the academic year to attract a large number of students and promote a sports culture among all segments of the university community.
The university also focuses on discovering and nurturing athletic talents to prepare them to represent the nation in international competitions and events. Among the sports facilities available at the university are the sports tent, sports fields, and sports clubs such as the Equestrian Club.
king Abdulaziz University allows the local community to use its sports facilities by submitting a letter to the university requesting access to the sports fields or clubs for a specific period or on a specific day, as follows:
