In addition, KAU enforce several policies that ensure the commitment of all its stakeholders including employees, faculty members, administrators, and students, to its institutional values and work ethics that ensures a healthy work environment. Among these policies are the following:
KAU abides with the regulations issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development including:
• Executive Regulations for Human Resources in Civil Service: Chapter 8 of the regulation (Job Duties) (Article 206) includes the following:
1. The government entity shall announce the regulations, the Code of Professional Conduct, and the Ethics of Public Service for its employees, and raise awareness of them through various means it deems appropriate.
2. The employee must review the Code of Professional Conduct, the Ethics of Public Service, and the job duties, and adhere to them in their work. Any violation of the provisions of the regulation and the rules outlined in that code constitutes a breach of job duties and requires the appropriate legal action to be taken against the employee.

Also, among the regulations governing work that King Abdulaziz University adheres to:The Advisory Guide to the Rules of Work Ethics issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Objectives of the Advisory Guide:
The purpose of this advisory guide is to enhance labor relations and shape the rules of conduct and work ethics in a way that positively impacts labor relations. This is aimed at creating a more attractive work environment, resulting in professional efficiency, job security, and smooth work operations.
Furthermore, adherence to work ethics will lead to increased worker productivity, better management of the establishment by the employer, and, in general, foster trust between the involved parties.
The code focuses on several ethical principles and areas, which include:
- Justice, equality, and non-discrimination
- General appearance
- Honesty and integrity
- Avoidance of exploiting positions
- Work environment
- Public morals and behaviors

There are several laws and regulations that have been defined and stated by the Government, to which all higher education institutions, including King Abdulaziz University, should abide by and apply within its premises.
