To achieve this, a dedicated team has been established with the sole responsibility of advancing sustainability initiatives within the institution. This team comprises experts and key personnel who focus on optimizing resource consumption, raising environmental awareness among students and faculty, and supporting research initiatives that contribute to innovative solutions for environmental challenges. organizational structure of the General Administration of Social Responsibility and Community Service, which includes the Sustainable Development Unit, entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Drafting and implementing policies and procedures that promote sustainable development concepts within the University.

• Ensuring the application of sustainable development–related policies across all areas of university operations and community projects.

• Developing and implementing sustainable development programs and initiatives.

• Collecting and analyzing data related to sustainable development, and organizing awareness campaigns and educational programs to promote sustainability concepts.

• Promoting a culture of sustainability among students, faculty members, university staff, and the wider community.

• Launching initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing sustainable development, in alignment with relevant national, regional, and international days.

• Organizing programs and workshops to raise awareness of sustainability issues among students, staff, and community members.

• Coordinating with various university sectors to ensure the effective implementation of sustainability initiatives.

• Collaborating with departments and colleges to implement research and community-based projects that support sustainability.

• Establishing partnerships with environmental, governmental, and private sector entities to support sustainable development initiatives within the University.
