Catering at KAU:KAU has several cafeterias and canteen spread throughout the campus that provide different food options to students and staff. Vendors of these cafeterias and quality of food are evaluated based on students’ feedback using KAU facility surveys that are distributed annually. In addition, there is a centralized restaurant serving main meals and cafes for serving drinks and snacks. The centralized restaurants in both main campus and Rabigh campus offer meals for a nominal fee for students and faculty members. The food is provided using approved health measures,In 2024 the number of meals provided by the central restaurant at King Abdulaziz University to male and female students reached (33305), including (7859) breakfast meals, (21711) lunch meals, and (3735) dinner meals.

About the administration
The university, represented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, is keen to provide meals that contain complete nutritional elements necessary for building the body, and to help the student financially by having the university bear the bulk of the value of the meal for him, in addition to providing an appropriate place to eat it in the restaurant. Central and in the student housing restaurant
Management tasks:
- Providing nutritionally complete meals through health monitoring by the nutrition supervisor, starting with the supply of raw materials, through preparation and preparation, and ending with serving the meal to the student.
- Follow up and monitor the cleaning work, determine the quality and components of the meals so that they are nutritionally complete, and inspect all food materials coming into the restaurant to the central.
List of services and their prices:
Provide three meals:
- Breakfast costs 5 riyals For Economic meal,8 riyals for Standerd Meail. and is served from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the central restaurant and in the student housing restaurant.
- Lunch costs 11 riyals For Economic meal, 14 riyals for Standerd Meai. and is served from 11 am to 2:30 pm in the central restaurant and in the student housing restaurant.
- Dinner costs 11 riyals For Economic meal, 14 riyals for Standerd Meail. and is served after the Maghrib prayer until 9:30 pm in the student housing restaurant.
